Chocolate Muffin Sundae  

You will need:

1 Jane Asher Great to Bake Triple Chocolate Muffin Mix
120ml water
1 egg
1 Mars Bar
1 Scoop of ice cream of your choice


METHOD:

Please note that cooking appliances may vary. These instructions are given only as a guide.

  1. Preheat oven to 220ºC (200ºC for fan assisted ovens)/450ºF/Gas Mark 7
  2. Empty into a large mixing bowl:
    the chocolate muffin mix
    1 medium egg
    120ml (4 fl.) cold water
    ½ sachet of the Dark chocolate chips
  3. Mix briefly with a spoon to form a lumpy batter.
  4. Separate the muffin cases out onto a muffin pan or baking tray.
  5. Divide the muffin evenly between the cases.
  6. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 15-18 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  8. Melt the Mars Bar in a bowl over simmering water.
  9. Place a scoop of ice cream on top of the muffin.
  10. Drizzle the melted Mars Bar over the ice cream muffin.
  11. Decorate with the remaining Dark chocolate chips.
