METHOD:

Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C for fan assisted ovens) / 350°F / Gas Mark 4.

- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C for fan assisted ovens) /350°F/ Gas Mark 4.
- Empty into a large mixing bowl:
The Vanilla Sponge mix
1 egg
60ml (4 tablespoons) water
50g (2 oz) softened butter
- Mix on high speed with an electric whisk or mixer for 1 _ minutes and then spoon the cake mix into the Baking Container.
- Place on a baking tray and bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow the cake to cool for approximately 45 minutes, then carefully remove from the container.
- Empty the topping mix into a bowl and add 50g (2 oz) of icing sugar. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water (drop by drop) to the topping until it has a thick, smooth consistency.
- Spread the topping over the top of the cake.
- Form a red cross by placing the red chocolate beans on top of the topping in a cross shape.
