- Follow the make up instructions for the Christmas cake but cook in a greased and lined pudding bowl. Cover the top of the cake with a piece of greaseproof paper. Cook for the same time as on pack.

- To make his hat, roll out some black icing and cut a circle from it, place this on top of the white icing ball head (on the flat top). The with the other colour icing make 3 fat disks to place on top of each other to make the layers of the hat. Keep some of the icing to make the scarf.
- From the black icing cut out 2 small circles for the eyes and a half moon for the smile, stick onto the head with a little water.
- For the nose using any coloured icing shaped into a cone and stick on with water
- For the scarf roll the 3 coloured icing together to make along thin scarf to wrap around the neck of the head.
- Once the cake has cooked and cooled, follow the instruction on pack to cover with marzipan and icing. Place this on top of the covered cake board.
- Place the head on top of the cake with a little water or use cocktail sticks to keep in place.
- Wrap the scarf around the neck with a little water. Use Christmas decoration to make the buttons and to decorate around the board and hat.
